Come for a stay where peace and the early morning birds will sing you out of bed.Live in a typical farm environment of the old days where cows, ducks, Canada Geese and pheasants stay together in a barn close to our beautiful residence. Your kids will be also happy to know that we have many cats and two Golden Retrievers awaiting for their company.

The owners, Jean-Guy and Ginette, will be glad to welcome you to this part of Acadia where you will discover the legendary warmth and happiness of Acadian people. If you desire, Jean-Guy will take great pleasure in showing you around his blueberry fields and oyster plantations.

Our Farm
The farm in only 2 km away from a beautiful beach where you can enjoy a quiet walk on the sandshore and observe many birds all year long. Our beach is frequently visited by bird watchers. Inkerman is located in the heart of the Acadian peninsula and is close to all main attractions. Le Village Historique Acadien, Le Musee des Papes, le Cajun., l'Aquarium and Centre Marin are just few sites to visit in our region.

Historical facts
Our residence , the oldest one in Inkerman, is more that 150 years old. Our goal is to maintain the authenticity of the house.Even though we live close to the farm , our house is very clean. Many antiquities and great decorations helps preserve the old days finish. The name of our residence is inspired by a boat once owned by a member of our family. Come and visit where you will be home in our home.

Our friendly prices
Le gite de l'Ardora is foremost a friendly place and it reflects in our prices. We have 3 rooms with queen size beds. Our prices are 45$ per person and 10$ for an extra individual for one room. It's not all, you'll also have a nice breakfast to start your day on the right foot. Our house is pretty old but we have modernity as a priority. Internet access is available for you to write your friends to tell them how wonderful your vacations are ! We are awaiting your arrival.
